I'm a software developer based in the West Midlands, UK. Currently working mainly with Flutter building mobile applications for both iOS and Android. Open to new opportunities and always happy to talk code! I also love learning languages (the non-computer kind), as well as playing and recording music.
Doucodetho
Struggling to build a daily coding habit? Keep yourself accountable with this app. The question is: 'do you code, though?'
Taking inspiration (both for the name and the gamification) from Duolingo and its highly-motivating daily streak system, this is an app designed to both track and encourage the regularity of coding sessions, hopefully keeping up levels motivation and consistency.
SR Tool
Inspired by spaced repetition tools, such as the ANKI system (the AnkiDroid app, in particular), I wanted to make an app that was tailored a bit more to myself.
Gone are things like the 'leech' tag and automatic suspending of cards if incorrectly identified a handful of times - something I could never disable in AnkiDroid, if it's even possible, which made memorising tricky kanji very frustrating.
Pixothermic
Made for the Flame Jam 3.0 in 2 days by @alexobviously and me, earning us third place, Pixothermic is a platformer centred around the theme of heat.
Puzzles primarily revolve around using the global light source to manipulate the environment, such as melting ice blocks with light refracted through movable prisms or evaporating water by positioning heated blocks.
TZ (for MacOS)
A collaboration with my friend @CallumBeaney, TZ is a terminal-based time zone converter written in Ruby, allowing users to quickly switch between different system timezones using a simple command-line interface.
Conceived during a situation where the backend didn't have timezone handling implemented and Simulator was locked to follow the MacOS system timezone, going back and forth in the system settings.
